About Me

My art practice incorporates photography, video, creative coding and  Arduino to create my art work  and installations.

My work stems from a curiosity and concern about our world, about the wonders that surround us and how and why things happen.   The patterns shapes, structures and physics  found in nature,  in for example a spider's web, or  in a drop of water, or a ray of sunlight are all  sources of inspiration.   These are also subjects that I have explored using computer generated art.  The family photo Album and my home place are also subjects I have created work around. My practice I could say deals with the past, present and future.  In recent years I have concentrated on saving a woodland in Rathcoole Co Dublin, using my art skills to support and document this important campaign in mitigating against climate change and preventing biodiversity loss.
